Luke Wilson has proudly announced the arrival of his first child, a baby girl, alongside his girlfriend, Kendall Yates. The actor, best known for his role in *Legally Blonde*, shared the joyful news during an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE at the premiere of his latest project, *The Hawk*, held in Los Angeles.

At the event, Wilson, who is 54 years old, expressed his excitement about becoming a father for the first time. “I’m just very proud to be a new dad, and just taking it day by day,” he said, reflecting on the new chapter in his life.
