Reagan began her career at Google nearly a decade ago after completing her bachelor’s degree in marketing. Initially, her path diverged from the tech industry, but an opportunity at the tech giant changed her course. Recounting her time at Google, she described the work environment as exhilarating, likening it to the experience depicted in the 2013 film “The Internship.” “It was unbelievable,” she said, highlighting the perks of the Austin office, which included nap rooms and a wide array of gourmet snacks.

Delving into her role, Reagan mentioned her work with gaming and the Google Cloud team. She spent significant time in San Francisco, often immersed in projects that required her dedication. Despite the appeal of her job, her perspective shifted when she met Alex Bregman, who would go on to become a prominent player in Major League Baseball.
The couple’s connection unfolded when they met in Houston while Reagan was still engrossed in her Google career. She admitted that, at that time, she had no plans to leave her position. However, the demands of their respective careers presented challenges from the outset of their relationship. “When I met Alex, I didn’t really want to leave Google,” she reflected, noting the obstacle of distance due to his baseball commitments.
They quickly recognised that their growing relationship would require adjustments. “It was really hard for us to make it work,” Reagan revealed. The couple then decided to move in together, culminating in her decision to leave Google and pursue her passion for entrepreneurship. This change was closely intertwined with their desire to build a life together.
After becoming engaged in early 2020, the couple planned a wedding in San Antonio, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to rethink their plans. Ultimately, they opted for a more intimate ceremony at Reagan’s parents’ home in Katy, Texas. Soon thereafter, Reagan launched her activewear brand, Exiza, inspired by the need for stylish yet comfortable clothing for individuals working from home during the pandemic. “I designed the pieces myself,” she explained, aiming to create high-quality activewear that also provided comfort.
Reagan and Alex welcomed their first child, Knox Samuel, in August 2022. The birth came just as the Houston Astros celebrated a World Series victory, marking a memorable moment for the new family. The couple’s joy continued when they welcomed their second son, Bennett, in April 2025, further solidifying their family bonds.
In the interview, Reagan expressed admiration for her husband’s dedication to both baseball and fatherhood. “At the end of the day, I think our whole family is such huge fans of Alex,” she stated, emphasising the importance of family support. “When Alex gets home, it is dad mode. It’s not the baseball player anymore; it’s dad.”
This recap of Reagan’s journey from the corporate world to entrepreneurship highlights the transformative power of relationships and parental love. As she embraces her roles as a businesswoman and mother, her story resonates with many who seek to balance personal ambitions with familial commitments.
