Mara Brock Akil, the creative force behind the iconic series *Girlfriends*, has shared her aspirations of turning the beloved sitcom into a feature film. Speaking on the *Question Everything* podcast, Akil, now 56, opened up about the complexities involved in bringing this project to fruition, particularly concerning the financial backing required for a proper production.
