Blac Chyna, the well-known model and television personality, has embarked on a notable journey of self-discovery that has led her to reconsider her past choices regarding cosmetic surgery. In a candid video shared on Instagram, the 38-year-old, whose real name is Angela White, detailed the various procedures she has undergone, as well as those she has chosen to reverse, asserting her commitment to authenticity.

In the video, posted on 28 June, Chyna explicitly stated, “I took out all those a– shots that I had, all the silicone; I’ve never had a BBL.” She elaborated on her history with breast augmentations, explaining a dramatic shift in size preferences over the years. “My first set of boobs was 300 cc. I went from 300 to 700 cc to 500 to 300, now to 100.” She noted that her current implants now sit at about 120 cc, highlighting her journey towards a more natural state following years of altering her appearance.

Chyna also recounted her decision to remove fillers from her cheeks, chin, and jawline, emphasising her desire to present a more genuine version of herself. “So now you’ll know if I’m mad at you,” she playfully remarked, suggesting a newfound transparency in her facial expressions.
In a previous interview with Tamron Hall in March 2023, Chyna shared insights into the motivations behind her initial choice to undergo cosmetic enhancements. Revealing feelings of insecurity, she said, “I was an exotic dancer for six years, and being inside the strip club … I felt the pressures of trying to hurry up and build my body.” She reflected on the unrealistic expectations prevalent in the entertainment industry, stating, “You want to have this image of yourself to look perfect. And there’s no such thing as that.”
The former reality star explained that her decisions were made at a young age, when she felt much pressure to conform to a certain standard of beauty. “At 19, your body’s not developed… nobody was telling me, you know, right from wrong,” she admitted. This pressure led her to seek out enhancements that did not align with her true self.
Earlier this year, Chyna spoke about a transformative “spiritual awakening” that prompted her to renounce cosmetic surgery altogether. In interviews, she described receiving illegal silicone injections at the age of 19 from an unlicensed individual. “This is a regular person that’s doing it,” she warned, reiterating the lack of safety and regulation surrounding such procedures. “They’re not gonna tell you, ‘Hey, you know, you could possibly die.’”
Chyna’s journey of self-renewal included not just the reversal of her surgeries, but a deeper introspection regarding how her external appearance affected her internal self-worth. She articulated a desire to alter her exterior in a way that matched her authentic self and changed the perceptions people had of her. “Whatever we put on the outside is the first thing… I want you to see, ‘OK this is a well-rounded woman,’” she expressed, aiming to shed the labels that came with her previous appearance.
Chyna’s dedication to self-improvement represents a broader conversation around body image and the social pressures faced by women, particularly in entertainment. By sharing her story, she hopes to inspire others to reconsider their choices surrounding aesthetics and to prioritise personal well-being over societal expectations.
In light of Blac Chyna’s latest revelations, it is evident that her journey is as much about empathy and healing as it is about achieving a new physical form. Her commitment to authenticity resonates with many, showcasing the importance of self-acceptance and the courage it takes to embrace one’s true identity. As she continues to share her experiences, Chyna reinforces the message that beauty and self-worth should emanate from within rather than conforming to external pressures.
