In an unfolding legal dispute, Will Robinson, father of reality television star Victoria Robinson, has initiated a counter restraining order against former “Vanderpump Rules” cast member Tom Sandoval. The move follows a tumultuous series of events surrounding an alleged altercation between the two men, which has garnered significant media attention.

On 26 June, photographs emerged of Will and Victoria at Sandoval’s rental property in Los Angeles, despite the existing restraining order filed by Sandoval against them. The situation escalated following a reported incident that occurred on 3 June, when Sandoval accused both Robinsons of physical and verbal abuse during an outing, resulting in injuries to the reality star.

According to court documents, Sandoval, who had been in a relationship with Victoria since early 2024, sought a domestic violence restraining order against her after claiming she physically assaulted him during their night out. In his filings, he alleged that Victoria punched him in the face, causing significant pain and lasting effects, which he described as impacting his vision. Sandoval also accused Will Robinson of lunging at him during the same incident and damaging property within the rental home.
The restraining order against Victoria was obtained on 25 June, with a judge ruling in favour of Sandoval immediately thereafter. Will Robinson responded by filing his own request for a counter restraining order in light of these allegations. On the same day, he was seen arriving at the Van Nuys Courthouse, where he appeared to be finalising the legal documents related to the case.
Emerging footage from the night of the altercation appears to show Sandoval engaged in a physical confrontation, wherein he allegedly pushed Will into a fire pit. The father claimed he sustained several serious injuries as a result of Sandoval’s actions, including a ruptured disc and broken thumb and elbow. He subsequently asserted that Sandoval returned to the rental property after the incident, instigating further confrontations that led Will to involve law enforcement once more.
Highlighting the ongoing tension between them, Will stated in his legal filing, “This incident was the fifth time, to my knowledge, that he has become physical during a confrontation with my daughter.” He underscored the necessity of the restraining order to ensure the safety of both himself and Victoria, as well as to alleviate the disruption caused in their lives.
Alongside the claims made by both parties, a representative for Sandoval and Victoria has yet to provide an official response to the ongoing situation. The developments within this legal battle underscore the complexities of personal relationships shaped by the intense scrutiny and pressure of reality TV fame.
As the case continues to evolve, it highlights the potential pitfalls that can arise when public lives intersect with personal disputes. Both Will and Victoria Robinson’s future actions in court will be keenly watched, as supporters and critics seek clarity in what has been described as a deeply troubling situation.
