During a press briefing, Lexington Police Chief Terrence Green revealed that the body was recovered around 2:48 p.m. after investigators followed up on a tip that directed them to an area at the junction of North Lake Road and Old Cherokee Road. This location is not far from the gym where Moore was seen walking away on the evening of June 11.
According to Chief Green, authorities are awaiting confirmation from the coroner to officially identify the body.
