Saint John shared her thoughts on the upcoming nuptials during her attendance at the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards at The Beverly Hilton in California on June 5. In an exclusive conversation with *People*, she described the significance of the events planned for both families and communities, stating, “They’re going to be very large weddings.” She and Watson intend to celebrate their union on August 21 in Ghana, followed by a second ceremony in Los Angeles on November 21.
The couple’s choice to have two elaborate ceremonies stems from their extensive family networks and cultural backgrounds. Saint John remarked on the number of relatives expected to attend, especially in Ghana, where she has a robust familial presence. “We both have very large families,” she explained, underscoring the importance of these gatherings for loved ones.
