Wyatt was born on April 27 of this year, and Fraser, who is 32, expressed the overwhelming love he feels for his daughter and his wife, Maggie. “You learn to love this kid in a way that you’ve never loved before,” he remarked at The Tribeca Festival’s Survivor 50th Season Panel. “I also love my wife in a way that I’ve never loved before, and so I feel like it’s what I was meant to do in life. I’m just having a ton of fun.”

Fraser, who resides in Brooklyn, New York, admitted that while the demands of newborn parenting have led to sleep deprivation, the experience has been incredibly rewarding. He described his days as filled with joy, stating, “Every single thing she does I feel is incredibly rewarding. I see my wife in a new lens because we’re constantly problem-solving together.”

Among the most precious moments Fraser has cherished is Wyatt’s first smile, which he noted made his “heart just melt.” He reflected on Wyatt’s premature birth, explaining that she arrived a month early and was smaller than expected. In light of this, he aims to remain as present as possible in her early days, despite anticipating her future milestones.
The journalist noted that Fraser said, “So while these milestones are gonna be awesome, I just don’t want her to grow up already. I feel like I’m having so much fun with just the way she is right now.” This sentiment underscores the joy that comes with the simple moments of parenthood, as Fraser navigates this new life stage alongside his family.
Fraser and Maggie first announced their pregnancy news to PEOPLE in January, ahead of his return to Survivor for Season 50. However, a challenging twist occurred when he was medically evacuated during the premiere episode after suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon during a competition challenge. Despite the setbacks, Fraser remains grateful for his growing family.
Since the birth of his daughter, Fraser has taken to Instagram to share updates about Wyatt and comment on the joys of fatherhood. His posts include sweet reflections on Maggie’s first Mother’s Day, as well as tips for dads navigating their new roles. “I’m just trying to be as present as possible,” he shared with his followers, highlighting the importance of cherishing the early days of parenthood.
In a light-hearted moment, Fraser, a devoted fan of the New York Knicks, reminded his followers that Wyatt has yet to witness the team lose a game since her birth. “Again, just a friendly reminder that baby Wyatt has never seen the #Knicks lose,” he wrote in a recent post after the team secured a victory against the San Antonio Spurs, a nod to the small joys of life that often provide a moment of levity during hectic days.
Fraser’s genuine love for his family shines through in his discussions of parenthood, illustrating the profound transformations that come with the birth of a child. While embracing challenges, he remains focused on the joys of fatherhood, fully committed to being there for both his wife and daughter as they continue their journey together.
As he navigates this new chapter, Fraser’s reflections serve as a poignant reminder of the deep emotional connections formed in family life, alongside the exhilarating and sometimes overwhelming realities of parenting.
