Savannah, 54, took to Instagram to express her emotions regarding the ongoing situation, posting a poignant message alongside a painting depicting Christ’s ascension. She shared the text, “Oh my, my soul it cries out, soul, it cries out. Bring her home,” which reflects the family’s deep concern and desperation in the face of this distressing ordeal.

Authorities believe Nancy was abducted from her home during the early hours of February 1, with a masked man implicated in the incident. Evidence presented by law enforcement, including ransom notes sent to local media outlets, supports their belief that Nancy was taken against her will. Despite the ongoing investigation, no suspects have currently been apprehended.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos provided an update on May 12, assuring the public that his department, in collaboration with the FBI and forensic labs, is diligently working on the case. He expressed optimism, stating, “I think every day they get closer,” while acknowledging the extensive work that remains. This includes analysis of mixed DNA recovered from the scene, which investigators hope will yield crucial leads.
In March, Savannah had previously shared another post with the same biblical painting, accompanied by the words “I believe, I believe,” demonstrating her unwavering hope for her mother’s safe return. Savannah, along with her siblings, Annie and Camron, have also publicly thanked the Tucson community for their continued support in the search for Nancy.
In a statement shared for a local news special titled “Bring Her Home: The Disappearance of Nancy Guthrie,” the family expressed their gratitude, saying, “We are deeply grateful for the outpouring from neighbours, friends and the people of Tucson. We are all family now… the greater southern Arizona community holds the key to finding resolution in this case.”
On Mother’s Day, Savannah released a poignant video, featuring clips of her mother and expressing the longing felt by the family. “Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie — we miss you with every breath,” she wrote in the video’s caption. Her message continued with a plea for anyone with information to come forward, stating, “We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you.”
Savannah made it clear that assistance is needed to bring Nancy home, calling upon anyone who might have knowledge regarding her disappearance. She urged the public to contact authorities, stressing that information could be provided anonymously and emphasising that a reward is still available for any helpful tips in the case.
Those with any information are encouraged to reach out to the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900. The desperate search for Nancy continues, with her family and the local community rallying in hopes of resolving the tragedy that has deeply affected them all.
