A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has issued a temporary restraining order against actress Theresa Randle at the request of Dario Pallini, her alleged former partner. This order was granted on June 2 and is set to remain in effect until June 23, when a hearing will take place to determine whether a more permanent domestic violence restraining order is necessary.

Pallini, who is 60 years old, has accused Randle, aged 61, of breaking into his apartment and attacking him on multiple occasions. He claims that their relationship, which lasted from 2022 to 2024, has since devolved into harassment following their breakup. The allegations raised in Pallini’s petition highlight a troubling pattern of alleged misconduct by Randle.

According to court filings, Pallini returned to his home on June 1 to discover Randle inside. He reported finding her sitting in a closet, accompanied by his dog and smoking crack cocaine. This shocking scene devolved into a confrontation, during which Pallini alleges Randle struck him on the shoulder and threw a can of vegetables at him, hitting him in the head.
The situation escalated further, as Pallini recounted an earlier incident on May 18, when he claims he woke to find Randle looming over him in his home. Pallini described her behaviour as erratic, stating that she began cleaning his house and accusing him of owing her money. He further alleges that Randle threatened to shoot him and assaulted him with a metal pole from his medical bed. During this incident, he felt it necessary to contact the police for assistance.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has confirmed they responded to a domestic violence call at Pallini’s residence on the afternoon of June 1, although they could not verify if a similar call was made regarding the May 18 incident.
In his court filing, Pallini expressed serious concerns about Randle’s mental health, suggesting that her reported substance abuse problem is affecting her behaviour. “She is addicted to drugs and needs help,” he stated, expressing fear over her unpredictable nature and potential for further violence.
On June 2, the judge’s order not only restricts Randle from contacting Pallini but also requires that she maintains a distance of at least 300 feet from him. This restraining order is a preliminary measure that will remain in effect until the upcoming hearing, where the court will decide if a more comprehensive domestic violence restraining order is warranted.
Randle is best known for her roles in the “Bad Boys” film series and other notable projects such as “Malcolm X.” Despite inquiries from media representatives seeking comment on the allegations, as of the latest reports, no response has been provided by Randle or her representatives.
As this case continues to develop, it raises significant concerns about domestic violence and mental health issues. Individuals facing similar situations are encouraged to seek assistance through hotlines and support services designed to provide confidential help to those in danger.
Domestic peace and safety are paramount, and the legal measures in place aim to address and curb instances of violence in relationships. As proceedings advance in this case, both the legal and public communities will be watching closely.
