Megan Thee Stallion, the acclaimed musician and entrepreneur, is currently embroiled in a legal dispute with wardrobe stylists Six K and Eric Archibald, who are suing her for over £1.2 million due to alleged non-payment for services rendered. The lawsuit was initiated in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, with the stylists claiming Megan has failed to settle outstanding invoices for a series of events through to August 2025.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Megan, whose full name is Megan Pete, engaged Six K and Archibald for professional styling services for various public appearances. However, it is alleged that she has not compensated Archibald for several events dating back to January 8, 2024. The stylists claim they submitted invoices related to these services between January 25, 2025, and January 8, 2026, which they assert are substantiated by email confirmations from associated Stallion entities.

The invoice in question reportedly details that Megan owes Six K a total of $1,243,501.98, illustrating the financial scale of the alleged unpaid services. Notably, the stylists provided an example of an itemised bill, specifically for the styling services provided for the Pete & Thomas Foundation Inaugural Gala, where Megan was a guest on July 16, 2025. This particular memo totalled $53,800, encompassing costs for preparatory days, assistants, as well as the three gowns worn.
The complaint also indicates that Six K has allegedly made numerous attempts to resolve the financial disagreement amicably over the last two years, but to no avail. Archibald has claimed that the withheld payments have adversely affected both his personal and professional life. Notably, he and Six K maintain that part of the disputed amount relates to payments owed to various vendors who contributed to the styling projects.
In response to the lawsuit, Megan Thee Stallion has firmly denied the allegations. She provided a statement to PEOPLE in which she pointed out that her finance team conducted a thorough review of Archibald’s invoices. That audit purportedly revealed fraudulent charges, invoices lacking adequate support, and questions regarding the legitimacy of certain styling shipments, with some deliveries linked to unverifiable addresses. Megan asserted that their attempts to settle these issues privately were dismissed in favour of litigation.
“I won’t be coerced into paying charges that can’t be substantiated,” she stated, emphasising her commitment to defending her position in the matter. This legal struggle is not the first challenge Megan has faced in recent years, as she has garnered media attention for both her professional achievements and personal health struggles.
Earlier this year, Megan was in the spotlight for her bold appearance at the 2026 Paraiso Miami Swim Week, during which she showcased her own line of swimwear, Hot Girl Summer. The event featured Megan modelling a striking cutout one-piece swimsuit, indicative of her continued influence in the fashion industry. However, her personal health has raised concerns; she notably exited the Broadway production of Moulin Rouge! due to an onstage health scare. Megan was hospitalised after experiencing severe illness during a performance, but she has since signalled her intent to prioritise her health following that incident.
In a recent legal victory, Megan also won a defamation case against blogger Milagro Gramz, who had falsely accused her of being a surrogate for another artist. This case, resolved in December 2025, involved a jury decision in Megan’s favour, further highlighting the scrutiny and challenges she faces in both her personal and professional life.
As the lawsuit between Megan Thee Stallion and her stylists unfolds, it remains apparent that this dispute exemplifies the complexities that can arise within the entertainment industry, particularly concerning contractual obligations and financial agreements. The outcome could have significant implications for both parties involved and, indeed, for Megan’s future engagements with stylists and collaborators in her career.
