Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann are inching closer to tying the knot, having recently acquired their marriage licence. Blake Horstmann, 37, expressed his excitement in a video where he stated, “We’re now one step closer to being husband and wife.” Meanwhile, Gibelli, 33, provided further clarification through her social media stories. She mentioned that although they secured their marriage licence, they intentionally left it unsigned, allowing them to formalise their vows during the wedding ceremony. “We honestly had no idea what we were doing, if we were getting married today or not, but we were able to leave with the licence unsigned,” she shared.

The engaged couple’s journey toward marriage has been filled with joyful experiences, including their recent adventure to the courthouse. They turned the trip into a memorable outing, with Horstmann renting a striking dark McLaren convertible from Drive Colorado Exotic Rentals. Gibelli remarked on their “really sweet day,” highlighting how they embraced the scenic beauty of the mountains during their drive. As they journeyed through the picturesque landscape, they made the most of the opportunity, particularly as their two-year-old son, Heath, was not in attendance.

Gibelli shared her enthusiasm on Instagram, saying, “Blake rented this sickkk McLaren because our courthouse was a bit ways from our house and we didn’t bring Heath, so we made a drive out of it and looped through the mountains. It was SO. much. fun!” Horstmann echoed this sentiment, sharing his thrill at having the chance to drive a McLaren for the first time, suggesting that the experience was truly exhilarating. “May have hit 100 [mph],” he quipped, reflecting on their joyride.
The couple’s light-hearted and celebratory experience was also evident in their outfits for the day. Both wore matching white attire, with Gibelli donning a stylish satin minidress complemented by a sheer bridal cape. Horstmann praised Gibelli’s appearance, stating she looked “cute as hell.” Their outfits and the day’s events encapsulated their desire to create an intimate and personalised celebration, which they referred to as “an us day.”
As they approach this significant moment in their lives, Gibelli expressed that they “really bonded” throughout the experience. Looking ahead to their future, she remarked, “Next stop, the altar!”
Earlier this year, Gibelli disclosed plans for a European wedding, shedding light on their intentions to maximise their budget. “I did all the research imaginable, and I found the most beautiful, gorgeous venue,” she stated during a podcast episode. She explained that by hosting their celebration abroad, they could obtain a lavish ceremony at a fraction of the cost, as they are funding the event entirely by themselves.
The couple became engaged on October 30, 2022, and their relationship has garnered considerable attention from fans of reality television. Both are known for their appearances on popular dating shows, and their love story has captivated many since they began dating.
As they prepare to exchange vows in a romantic European setting, Gibelli and Horstmann’s journey continues to evolve. With their marriage licence now secured and memorable experiences already behind them, the anticipation for their wedding day grows ever stronger.
