The director and the actress were in the Big Apple partly to celebrate Sweeney’s latest campaign for American Eagle, showcased on a billboard in the densely packed tourist area. Reflecting on the spontaneous nature of their adventure, Braun posted, “When you’re in bed at 11 pm and your girl says ‘I’ve never been to Times Square…’,” elegantly summarising the charming tone of their evening.

In the footage shared online, Sweeney exuded joy as she giggled and pulled her feet off the pedals while Braun, clad in a grey hoodie and a black cap, rode beside her. The couple attempted to maintain a low profile, with Sweeney hiding her face behind oversized sunglasses and a navy hoodie.
