The twins’ early years were spent at Beck Row Primary School in England, where their father served in the Air Force. Following a move to Texas and subsequently Colorado, both sisters faced an unexpected hurdle: they had to repeat the first grade due to differences in the educational systems. However, these challenges did not deter their ambitions, as they demonstrated exceptional commitment and hard work throughout their education.

Ella, who earned the title of valedictorian, expressed that her achievement would not have felt as fulfilling without her sister by her side. “Having her by my side through this accomplishment just feels right,” Ella remarked, highlighting the importance of their bond. She also praised Eva, stating, “She deserves everything this world has to offer… I’m just grateful I got to stand beside her while she did it.”
Eva, who graduated as salutatorian, shared her own journey of anticipation in learning her final ranking. “I knew I had the GPA to compete for first with my sister,” she said. Although she had aspirations of claiming the top spot, she ultimately felt a profound pride for her twin. “More than anything, I was proud of her,” Eva noted, emphasising her belief that Ella was the most deserving candidate for the honour.
What sets the Paddocks apart from typical sibling rivalries is their unwavering support for one another. “What surprises people most is that we were never competing against each other — we stood beside each other,” Ella explained. The twins cultivated a relationship characterised by encouragement rather than competition, which they believe has been a key factor in their respective successes.
As they transition to the next stage of their lives, both sisters plan to continue their education together at Colorado State University. Ella intends to study nutrition and dietetics, while Eva has set her sights on pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering. The duo expressed excitement and relief about embarking on this new chapter side by side, which they believe will ease the challenges of college life.
“This makes going to college less scary because I get to bring my home with me,” Eva shared when discussing their forthcoming journey. The bond they share has clearly been a source of comfort and strength throughout their academic careers, and this dynamic promises to continue as they face the future.
The Paddocks’ inspiring story serves as a reminder of the power of support and collaboration, especially among siblings. Their achievements not only highlight their individual talents but also the deep connection that has motivated them throughout their schooling.
As they prepare for college, the twins are looking forward to new experiences and further success, both academically and personally. With a strong foundation of love and respect, Ella and Eva are poised to make their mark in whichever field they choose to pursue, exemplifying the notion that teamwork can foster remarkable accomplishments.
