On May 26, the Walt Disney World resort will unveil an exciting array of attractions across all four of its theme parks. The highly anticipated changes include a beloved retheming of existing rides as well as the introduction of entirely new experiences, promising a summer of entertainment for visitors.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will see the return of the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, after the ride was closed for over two months for reimagining. Previously themed around the rock band Aerosmith, the ride will now feature the Muppets. Guests will join an animated adventure at G-Force studios, where the Muppets are in a race against time to get Animal and the Electric Mayhem band to their biggest concert yet. The underlying theme of camaraderie and fun is set to enhance the ride’s excitement.
The new experience on the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster allows guests to enjoy music from the Electric Mayhem, featuring five hit tracks. Selections include “Song 2,” “Born to Be Wild” featuring Camilla the Chicken, “Love Rollercoaster” with Jennifer Hudson and Questlove, “Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)” with Def Leppard, and “Walking on Sunshine” with Kelly Clarkson. Additionally, the queue will feature a delightful encounter with Scooter, the world’s first audio-animatronic figure, who attempts to encourage the band to make their concert on time while providing a humorous backdrop to the experience.
Adjacent to the reimagined coaster, the park will also reopen the Walt Disney Studios Courtyard, a refreshed area inspired by real-life Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. Visitors can expect enhanced landscapes and thematic architecture, decorated with nods to iconic Disney films, including handprints and footprints reminiscent of those at the Chinese Theatre. A prominent feature of this area will be Sorcerer Mickey’s large hat, which has returned to the park, adding a nostalgic touch to the newly themed environment.
In the same vicinity, families can enjoy the Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, where Mickey and Minnie embark on a quest to celebrate a big party, encountering beloved friends Goofy, Daisy Duck, and Pluto along the way. This interactive show will surely enchant younger guests and create memorable moments for families visiting the park together.
Over at the Magic Kingdom, Jessie from Toy Story is set to host her own family-friendly hoedown at the Diamond Horseshoe. Entitled Jessie’s Roundup, this lively show invites attendees to engage in singing, dancing, games, and other activities alongside Jessie, Woody, Bullseye, and their friends, promising an entertaining experience for visitors of all ages.
Animal Kingdom will welcome Bluey and her sister Bingo at the new Bluey’s Wild World, located at Conservation Station. Guests can take a trip on the Wildlife Express Train, where they can enjoy games, dances, and laughter with the beloved characters. This new addition embraces the fun and excitement that families have come to expect from Disney parks, with a virtual queue available via the My Disney Experience app to streamline access.
At EPCOT, the fan-favourite Soarin’ ride has been updated and rebranded as Soarin’ Across America. This revitalised experience celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States, offering guests a stunning aerial journey over the country’s most beautiful landscapes and vibrant urban environments. The popular attraction will also be updated at Disney’s California Adventure on July 2, extending the experience to a wider audience.
Finally, visitors to EPCOT will not want to miss GoofyCore, where the whimsical works of Goofy’s Game Machine come to life at CommuniCore Hall. Led by Goofy, alongside DJ DANCE PANTS and the GOOF TROOP, guests can participate in light-hearted activities such as Goofy Says, Balloon Bonanza, and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks, offering fun experiences that align with the theme of entertainment and joy that Disney parks are known for.
