Taco Bell is set to introduce an exciting new menu as it gears up for the warmer months, including its very first cold brew and cold foams, along with a fan-favourite birria-inspired taco and tempting dessert options. The popular fast-food chain announced these updates in a recent press release, detailing the launch scheduled for May 21 at select locations featuring their Live Más Cafés.

For the first time ever, Taco Bell will offer a distinctive range of cold brew coffee and cold foams. These beverages will only be available at the Live Más Cafés found at select outlets in Houston, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Southern California. Customers can choose between a 16-ounce cold brew priced at £4.59 or a larger 20-ounce option for £4.99, and the addition of cold foams will not incur any extra charge.

The cold brew is crafted from a blend of medium and dark roast Arabica beans sourced from various regions in Latin America. Taco Bell claims that their unique “slow cold extraction” method results in a coffee that boasts a balanced, low-acid profile. Furthermore, the beans are air-roasted to enhance their richness, offering customers a smoother coffee experience.
Alongside the new cold brews, Taco Bell is introducing an enticing selection of cold foams including Purple Velvet Cream, a horchata-inspired foam that boasts a striking purple hue, as well as Caramel Dulce Cream and Vanilla Cream. The chain aims for these sweet creams to augment the cold brew’s taste, encapsulating Taco Bell’s legacy of bold flavours. For those keen to grab the new drink, Taco Bell will give away limited-edition bandanas to anyone purchasing a medium cold brew at a Live Más Café on Saturday, May 30, starting at 7 a.m.
In addition to the coffee launch, Taco Bell is also reviving its Shredded Beef Dipping Taco, replete with a new twist on its popular Nacho Fries. The Shredded Beef Dipping Taco is inspired by birria, a traditional Mexican dish known for its rich, savoury flavours and textures. It features slow-braised beef encased in a white corn tortilla, grilled to perfection with a cheesy crust and accompanied by a zesty red sauce. The taco will also include a delightfully creamy jalapeño sauce and a blend of three cheeses.
Customers will have the option to purchase these tacos individually or as part of the $9 Discovery Box, a value meal that includes a Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, Doritos Locos Tacos, chips served with nacho cheese sauce, and a medium fountain drink.
Additionally, Taco Bell is elevating its classic Nacho Fries by incorporating shredded beef into the dish, which will now be topped with pico de gallo, a blend of three cheeses, warm nacho cheese, and creamy jalapeño sauce. This limited-time offer is expected to resonate well with fans of the establishment’s renowned menu items.
To complete this tasty lineup, Taco Bell is unveiling another limited-time dessert: Strawberry Cinnabon Delights. These delightful dough bites are stuffed with rich Cinnabon cream cheese frosting and then rolled in strawberry-flavoured sugar, adding yet another enticing treat to the menu. The new dessert will be available at Taco Bell locations across the country starting May 21.
As Taco Bell strives to innovate its beverage offerings, the chain has set an ambitious goal of reaching £5 billion in beverage sales by 2030. The drinks introduced at the Live Más Cafés are being considered for potential nationwide availability, aiming to attract a wider customer base.
With these new developments, Taco Bell continues to capture the enthusiasm of its customers, combining beloved flavours with refreshing new options. From the cold brew beverages to the return of popular menu items, the chain is ensuring that fans have much to look forward to this summer.
