According to reports from the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the man, whose identity has not yet been released, was driving a black 2017 Honda Pilot along the Pacific Coast Highway (SR-1) when the vehicle veered off the roadway. The CHP explained that the car struck a call box before continuing through vegetation and over the cliff edge.
