On April 24, she wed her partner, Lester Noake, during an intimate ceremony at a local registry office. The following day, they donned their wedding attire once more and paid a visit to Glenburnie Lodge to honour George and share heartfelt moments with him. They reaffirmed their vows in his presence, took joyful family photographs in the garden, and celebrated together as a united family.
The staff at Glenburnie Lodge played an instrumental role in making this event memorable. They transformed a private family room to fit the wedding theme and arranged a mini ceremony for the couple, which was attended by some of George’s fellow residents. The care home’s chef even prepared a beautiful, two-tier wedding cake for the occasion, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
The inspiration for this touching event was sparked during a visit to Glenburnie with Emma’s newborn son, Hudson, just two months prior. What they did for us was phenomenal,” Emma remarked, expressing her gratitude.
