A former employee of JPMorgan Chase has renewed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Lorna Hajdini, a senior executive at the bank, asserting his intention to pursue legal action despite the vehement denials from both Hajdini and the financial institution. The plaintiff, who remains anonymous and is identified as “John Doe,” submitted a revised complaint earlier this week, accompanied by additional documentation that he claims substantiates his allegations of harassment and assault.
The lawsuit first came to public attention when it was filed in New York County Supreme Court on 27th April. It alleges a disturbing series of events, starting in April 2024, whereby Doe claims Hajdini coerced him into non-consensual sexual acts, drugged him, and engaged in a pattern of abusive and threatening behaviour. This latest legal filing follows intense media scrutiny surrounding the case, underscoring Doe’s desire to protect his identity in light of the focus on his personal life by various publications.

In his updated complaint, Doe asserts that he has been under the care of a licensed psychotherapist since early 2025, who has diagnosed him with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) attributed to the alleged harassment. In a statement, he revealed his consultations with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office regarding the situation.
Hajdini’s representatives have categorically rejected the allegations, stating that she has never had any inappropriate conduct with Doe and has never visited the location where the alleged incidents took place. A spokesperson for JPMorgan Chase echoed this sentiment, affirming that an internal investigation conducted by the bank found no merit to Doe’s claims. The spokesperson noted that while many employees cooperated in the inquiry, Doe did not participate or provide critical information that could support his allegations.
The legal proceedings took an unexpected turn shortly after the initial lawsuit was publicised, as Doe’s complaint was returned for correction, leading to its temporary removal from public access. The revised complaint was submitted on 4th May and contains specific details regarding the alleged harassment, claiming a pattern of threats and ridicule designed to coerce Doe into a sexual relationship.
According to the lawsuit, the inappropriate behaviour escalated following Hajdini’s arrival in Doe’s team, with claims of sexual advances, unsolicited physical contact, and derogatory remarks. Notably, Doe describes himself as a person of colour of Asian descent, suggesting that the comments directed towards him had racial undertones.
The lawsuit also outlines accusations against JPMorgan for allegedly damaging Doe’s career prospects after he sought alternative employment in late 2024. He claims that the company retaliated against him following a medical leave, during which he filed complaints regarding race- and gender-based discrimination and harassment. As part of his claims, Doe is seeking damages for lost wages, both current and future.
Recent court filings include sworn statements from two witnesses who corroborate portions of Doe’s allegations. Both individuals reportedly observed Hajdini acting inappropriately during encounters with Doe. One witness recounted a specific instance where Hajdini allegedly invited them to join her and the plaintiff in a bedroom setting, while another witnessed Hajdini purportedly intoxicated, making derogatory remarks towards Doe.
John Doe’s legal representative was unavailable for comment regarding the case, and attempts to reach out to Hajdini’s and JPMorgan’s legal teams for additional statements were unsuccessful. As of now, it appears that neither Hajdini nor JPMorgan have submitted formal responses to the complaints in court.
This unfolding case not only raises serious questions surrounding workplace conduct and accountability within large corporations but also highlights the complexities of legal recourse in situations involving allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination. The outcome of this lawsuit may have significant implications, not only for those directly involved but also for others in similar positions across various industries.
