Ferreira, who has recently starred in the film “Mile End Kicks,” added a sense of finality to her remarks, stating, “It will never come out. I’ve finally accepted it.” Although the visual content is reportedly shelved, the actress isn’t shy about sharing her experience, maintaining that she was indeed part of a Beyoncé project, even if it may never see the light of day.

In the podcast episode, she described the project as the music video for the song “THIQUE,” which was met with excitement amongst listeners. Ferreira characterised her time working on the video as extraordinary. “It was so cool… but I do tell people I was in a Beyoncé music video,” she said, humouring the disbelief she sometimes encounters from others regarding her claims.

The music video was directed by visual artist Nadia Lee Cohen and reportedly featured an impressive array of talent, including Shygirl, Carmen Electra, and Megan Thee Stallion. “It was like thick bitches,” Ferreira quipped, highlighting the diverse and dynamic cast involved in the project.
The actress recounted a significant encounter with Beyoncé, following the filming of the video. She reminisced about the time she was invited to the singer’s birthday party, a moment she clearly cherishes. “I met her, and I was like, I will say I got really drunk so I could say happy birthday to her,” Ferreira said, capturing the intimate nature of the gathering. She explained that she felt compelled to celebrate Beyoncé’s birthday elaborately, owing to her admiration for the artist.
Ferreira’s companion for the evening was a steadfast Beyoncé fan who would travel from New York for every significant Beyoncé-related event. “We thought this was going to be this huge birthday party,” Ferreira recalled, although she was surprised to discover the event was much more intimate, with only around 40 to 50 people in attendance.
The setting of the celebration was a roller rink, an unexpected yet vibrant choice that Ferreira described as having a lively atmosphere. “I walked in, I go, ‘Oh, everyone’s letting loose,’” she reflected, recalling the enjoyment shared among the guests. Ferreira further declared it as “the best party I’ve ever been to,” showing her enthusiastic appreciation for the occasion.
As Ferreira continues her journey in the entertainment industry, she remains hopeful about future projects and cherishes the special moments from her previous work, including the elusive Beyoncé collaboration. “Shout out to Beyoncé for recognizing that I was in a music video that will never come out,” she said, showcasing her light-hearted acceptance of the situation.
Recently, Ferreira also spoke with PEOPLE about her role in “Mile End Kicks,” where she portrayed a music journalist named Grace Pine. Discussing the preparation required for the role, she noted the extensive research she undertook, including reading articles from the film’s writer and director, Chandler Bava. Ferreira expressed her excitement at immersing herself in the creative atmosphere of Montreal, where the film was set, describing it as an incredibly cool and enjoyable experience.
As her star continues to rise in the film and television industries, Ferreira’s anecdote about her near association with Beyoncé serves as yet another testament to her growing profile and the vibrant stories that accompany her career.
