In a recent Q&A session on Instagram, Heather addressed concerns from her followers regarding her dual commitments to both shows. Responding to a fan who asked if she would still participate in “The Flip Off,” she stated, “Still doing The Flip Off. Actually, I’m currently filming it right now. So don’t worry, I’m still on HGTV, you guys.”

Heather’s continued involvement with “The Flip Off” is reassuring for fans who are eager for more content featuring her and her husband, Tarek El Moussa. The couple is presently engaged in filming the second season of the competitive house-flipping show, which has proven to be a hit since its inception. The first season attracted close to 14 million viewers, with Heather and Tarek emerging victorious after a series of design challenges against other contestants, including Tarek’s ex-wife, Christina Haack.
With regards to her role on “The Flip Off,” Heather emphasised that it will be business as usual. She explained, “I’m seeing a lot of questions about this. I’m still doing The Flip Off. I am flipping houses with Tarek — lotta fun. So flipping ugly houses and then I’ll be around beautiful, amazing mansions. But yes, we’re still on HGTV and we’re filming The Flip Off right now.”
The upcoming season has stirred significant interest, especially considering the personal dynamics involved in the series. During the first season, audience members saw the competitive spirit, alongside glimpses into the personal lives of the stars, including Haack’s struggles amid her divorce from Josh Hall, who was once her partner on the show.
In tandem with her commitments to “The Flip Off,” Heather is also preparing for a fresh start in “Selling Sunset,” where she promises a renewed perspective as a wife, mother, and entrepreneur. Since her departure from the show after the seventh season, Heather has welcomed her son, Tristan, and launched her beauty line, HRE Beauty.
Reflecting on her journey and her return to the Oppenheim Group office, Heather expressed, “Being part of Selling Sunset the first time around gave me so much. It’s where people first really got to know me, and I felt like there was more of my story to tell. The version of me returning is very different from the one who left.”
Heather elaborated on the changes in her life, noting that as she returns, she brings along her experiences of motherhood and business ownership. She aims to foster the original spirit of the show that resonated with audiences, focusing on ambition, friendship, and the celebration of women rather than rivalry.
As fans await the new season of both “Selling Sunset” and “The Flip Off,” Heather Rae El Moussa’s enthusiastic return promises to bring fresh narratives and deeper insights into her evolving life as a property expert and a mother. While the premiere date for the second season of “The Flip Off” remains undisclosed, HGTV has indicated that it is set to air sometime in 2026.
With her commitment to both platforms, viewers can expect Heather to showcase her dual life as she navigates the complexities of reality television, real estate, and family. The excitement over her return underscores the ongoing popularity of reality series, which have a unique ability to blend personal and professional stories, drawing viewers into the lives of their favourite cast members.
