I’ve known him as a producer, as one of the most groundbreaking Broadway producers of the 21st century.” He explained that while he had a preconceived notion of Seller based on his illustrious career, the memoir unveiled a deeper, more complex narrative of the man behind the productions. “Just the journey, which is such a great journeyman’s journey, of how do you come from ‘nothing’ to having such influence in the American theater. I thought it was extraordinary,” Domingo explained.

I think writers who’ve gone through programs can’t write like this because this is a lived experience… it’s so raw and unflinching.”

He expressed a personal connection to the book, stating, “It’s one of my favourite books that I have on my bedside.
