Lightning, developed by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor, showcased impressive performance that far outstripped the time of two hours, 40 minutes, and 42 seconds recorded by last year’s winning robot.


Standing at five feet five inches tall and featuring a distinctive bright red exterior, Lightning’s journey to victory was not without its challenges.
