Musician D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has been transferred to Twin Towers Correctional Facility, where he is set to face serious criminal charges. This transfer took place on 22 April, as confirmed by recent jail records. Burke is being held without bail and is expected to make his first court appearance in connection with a significant criminal case the following day.

Burke, who is 21 years old, faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder. Disturbingly, the allegations include special circumstances such as lying in wait, committing the act for financial gain, and murdering a witness who was involved in a separate investigation related to the case of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas. Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman provided this information during a press briefing.
The tragic story surrounding Celeste Rivas is deeply unsettling. The teenager, a resident of Lake Elsinore, California, was found dismembered in the trunk of Burke’s vehicle in the Hollywood Hills in September 2025, only a day after her 15th birthday. Authorities believe that Burke allegedly took her life on 23 April 2025 when Rivas was believed to be a witness to a previous investigation concerning Burke’s alleged sexual misconduct involving minors.
In addition to the murder charges, Burke has been accused of engaging in lewd and lascivious acts with an individual under the age of 14, as well as mutilating human remains. He entered a plea of not guilty during his arraignment, firmly denying any wrongdoing in connection with the allegations.
Burke’s legal team, which consists of attorneys Blair Berk, Marilyn Bednarski, and Regina Peter, has publicly asserted his innocence.
