A 47-year-old man from the UK has been arrested at Disney World following an alleged incident involving an 18-year-old girl in a queue for one of the park’s attractions. Keith Richard Newman, from Newcastle, is currently facing a charge of first-degree battery in connection with the event that occurred on February 20 at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, located in the Magic Kingdom.

According to an arrest affidavit released by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the young woman reported to authorities that she had been pushed during a dispute over cutting in line. The altercation took place as she and her friend were attempting to rejoin their group while traversing the queuing area.
Witness accounts indicate that as the two friends passed by Newman, he extended his hand in an effort to prevent them from moving forward. The alleged victim contends that, despite her attempt to navigate around him, Newman pushed her back with both hands, resulting in her falling into her friend. The friend supporting the victim’s account also stated that Newman had made a remark directed at her, saying, “This is a queue,” moments before the physical interaction ensued.
