In a heartfelt post on April 12, Zapata expressed her delight, stating, “I almost gave up… but then I found the dress.” Accompanied by a photograph featuring her in a bridal shop in Chicago, named Aisle Chic, she chronicled her experience, revealing that her journey involved visits to four different boutiques and trying on numerous dresses. With an air of joy, she affirmed, “I finally said YES 🤍.”

The moment she wore the chosen gown proved to be significant for Zapata. “The moment I put it on, I just knew… and seeing my besties’ reactions made it even more special,” she added, highlighting the importance of her friends’ support during the process.
In her post, Zapata also took the time to express her gratitude to her followers who offered recommendations and encouragement throughout her wedding dress quest. “And to my bfs… I couldn’t have done this without you,” she wrote affectionately. She concluded her announcement by posing a delightful question to her audience: “Okay but tell me—should I share a sneak peek or keep it a surprise?”
Prior to this announcement, the reality star had been sharing updates on her wedding dress search. On March 12, she posted clips of herself trying on various gowns and reflected on her journey with the caption, “6 months until the wedding and I’m still searching for the one.” This sentiment resonated with many brides-to-be, as she candidly asked her followers for their experiences in finding the perfect dress.
Zapata’s engagement to R. Limas was announced in March 2025, marking a new chapter for the couple. The romantic proposal took place in a scenic park in Tokyo during the cherry blossom season, with a stunning view of the iconic Tokyo Tower in the background. Capturing the moment’s magic, she wrote, “Chapter 36 just started but I’m ready to spend forever with you,” alongside photos commemorating the special day.
The couple made their relationship public in July 2024, enjoying each other’s company at various music festivals. They have since shared glimpses into their lives together, with Zapata expressing her affection for Limas in a touching post on February 28. “Because it’s almost been a year since we got engaged and I love doing life with you,” she reflected, emphasising that every moment, whether filled with adventure or comfort, is better spent together.
During her time on “Love Is Blind,” Zapata formed a connection with fellow contestant Salvador “Sal” Perez, but they ultimately parted ways before the wedding. The new chapter with Limas seems to be a promising one filled with love and excitement as they prepare for their upcoming nuptials.
As the wedding date approaches, fans can anticipate more updates from Zapata, who is clearly enjoying this significant journey towards saying “I do.” With her excitement palpable, many are eager to see what the future holds for this beloved reality star and her fiancé.
