Yet, once airborne, her worries began to fade. “It was amazing how quickly Luna adapted to our new apartment in Munich,” she said. “After a brief recovery from jet lag, she returned to her cheerful self.”
Settled in Munich, Gardner has found her daily routine transformed. Having stepped back from her medical career, she now immerses herself in a life filled with leisurely activities, including long walks, cycling, yoga, and reading. Her time with Luna has become central to her new existence. “Luna loves that I’m at home more often,” she said, chuckling at the prospect of this being a permanent change.
Despite her age, Luna still possesses a lively spirit, which has enabled the pair to forge connections within their neighbourhood. “As much as I tend to be introverted, Luna is quite the social butterfly,” Gardner quipped.
