Olivia Munn recently expressed her deep attachment to her cherished possessions, specifically her vintage Levi’s jeans. During an interview with PEOPLE at the premiere of *Your Friends & Neighbours* Season 2 in New York City, the actress shared that, in the event of a fire, after rescuing her pets, children, and crucial documents, her first priority would be to save her beloved denim collection.

The 45-year-old star remarked, “I don’t know how much somebody could offer to buy them from me; they’re like a second skin.” Munn’s love for her vintage Levi’s is evident, as she elaborates on the lengths she goes to in acquiring these pieces, often travelling extensive distances to find them. “It takes a long time. It’s a lot of energy,” she noted, revealing that her collection comprises four distinct pairs that carry sentimental value.
Munn’s discussion of her jeans comes as she continues to navigate her recent battle with breast cancer. Earlier in the day, she made an appearance on *Good Morning America*, speaking candidly about her health journey. The actress disclosed to hosts Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Lara Spencer that she had received a diagnosis of bilateral breast cancer in early 2023, after tests revealed the aggressive luminal B type in both breasts—despite previous screenings showing no signs of the disease.
Reflecting on her experience, Munn praised figures like Roberts, who openly share their own cancer stories, stating that their transparency made it easier for her to address her own situation. “I’m doing great. I have to say because of people like you who are so open, it made it so much easier for someone like me to talk about it,” she said, acknowledging the importance of community in these conversations.
Munn described the impetus behind her openness as rooted in the desire to help other women, especially regarding resources like the lifetime risk assessment test, which she emphasised is free and accessible online. Despite her initial clear mammogram and ultrasound results, the online test ultimately led to the discovery of her cancer, highlighting the critical value of awareness and education.
In the wake of her diagnosis, Munn has undergone five surgeries, including a double mastectomy, lymph node dissection, and a hysterectomy. While she is currently managing the challenges posed by her treatment, she has been experiencing side effects from her medication, which she candidly discussed, mentioning the development of nodules on her neck.
Munn provided further insight into her mindset during an appearance on *CBS News Sunday Morning*. Faced with the stark reality of her health situation, she has found herself prioritising the “little moments” in life, particularly with her husband, comedian John Mulaney, and their two children, Malcolm and Méi. “It’s not the Christmases and the birthdays and the New Years that we remember,” she reflected. “Life happens on a Tuesday. Like, it just happens. And you cannot expect it. And so every day, you should just be so present and grateful.”
As she continues her recovery, Olivia Munn remains focused on what truly matters—her family, her passions, and the precious memories they create together. Her journey underscores the importance of resilience and the profound effect of love and support during difficult times. Her commitment to living in the present serves as inspiration not only for her fans but for anyone facing life’s unpredictable challenges.
