Luke Hemsworth has expressed a keen desire to collaborate with his brothers, Chris and Liam, on a screen project. The Australian actor, who is making waves with his latest film, “Beast,” which is set to be released in cinemas on April 10, shared his enthusiasm during a recent interview with E! News.

In his conversations with Chris and Liam, Luke noted that the trio has often discussed the possibility of working together but emphasised the importance of finding the right project that would suit all of their schedules. “I would love to do something,” said Luke, highlighting the brotherly bond that underpins their professional aspirations.

However, there is a significant constraint when it comes to coordinating their schedules. Luke jokingly remarked that booking his older brother Chris, who is widely known for his role as Thor in the Marvel films, requires meticulous planning. “We need to get Chris booked in about two years in advance,” he quipped, acknowledging Chris’s immense popularity and the plethora of projects he has lined up.
Chris Hemsworth, 42, is currently involved in several major film projects, including his reprisal as Thor in the upcoming blockbuster “Avengers: Doomsday,” scheduled for release on December 18. Alongside this, he has headlined the thriller “Crime 101” and is working on two documentary features: “Chris Hemsworth: A Road Trip to Remember” and “Limitless,” which explores the boundaries of human potential.
Despite their busy individual careers, all three Hemsworth brothers share a strong desire to collaborate. Luke urged potential writers to approach them should they have a compelling project in mind. “If anyone wants to write something, then please, please come and see us,” he said, reflecting his eagerness for creative collaboration.
Interestingly, while the brothers possess a shared passion for acting, they struggle to find the time to watch one another’s projects. Luke admitted that getting their schedules to align for family viewings is a challenge. “Either of us getting each other to watch each other’s stuff is the battle that we face,” he explained with a sense of camaraderie.
Both Chris and his wife, Elsa Pataky, whom he married in 2010, have made acting a family affair. They have three children together—daughter India Rose and twin sons, Sasha and Tristan. Their daughter India Rose even starred alongside Chris in “Thor: Love and Thunder,” showcasing the family’s inclination towards the entertainment industry.
Meanwhile, Luke is happily married to Samantha, and together they have four children. He shared that his kids have shown an interest in acting, despite his attempts to encourage them to explore a variety of life experiences outside the limelight. “If that’s what makes them happy, then great. But I also want them to get a bit more life experience,” he remarked, highlighting a balanced approach to their upbringing.
The anticipation for “Beast,” directed by Tyler Atkins, is building as it approaches its release date. The film, which features notable actors such as Daniel MacPherson and Russell Crowe, delve deep into the world of mixed martial arts, a theme that promises to captivate audiences.
As the Hemsworth brothers navigate their individual careers, the hope remains that they can eventually unite on-screen. For now, Luke’s remarks reveal a deep-seated desire for collaboration and family connection that resonates beyond their professional pursuits.
