Brianna LaPaglia has taken a significant stance on the privacy of her personal life, particularly regarding her new relationship, which she has playfully named “Meatball Man”. On the latest episode of her podcast, “Plan Bri Uncut,” the influencer discussed the importance of maintaining boundaries in her romantic life, particularly after experiencing challenges in her previous relationship.

LaPaglia, a 26-year-old social media personality, has hinted at her current romance over recent months without disclosing too much detail. The nickname “Meatball Man” originated from an unfortunate incident where she had to cancel a date due to what she suspected was food poisoning from a meatball dish. Despite her playful moniker, LaPaglia has made it crystal clear that her followers will not receive further insights into his identity.
During her podcast, which aired on 29th March, LaPaglia stated firmly, “You are never going to find out who ‘Meatball Man’ is,” reinforcing her commitment to keeping the details of this budding relationship under wraps. She explained that her decision to maintain this level of privacy is a product of her experiences over the past few years, particularly a highly publicised breakup with country artist Zach Bryan.

LaPaglia began dating Bryan in July 2023, but their relationship came to an end in October 2024. Following their split, LaPaglia accused Bryan of emotional abuse and claimed he offered her a substantial sum of money, along with a house, to refrain from discussing their relationship. To date, Bryan has not publicly responded to these allegations.
Reflecting on this tumultuous period in her life, LaPaglia expressed her sentiments about sharing relationships with her audience. “It is sad for the people that love being a part of my relationships and have been there since my first college romance,” she said, acknowledging the connection her followers may feel. However, she added, “Over my f—ing dead body will I post a person until I’m married.”
The influencer shared that she enjoys making content as a couple but admitted that she feels apprehensive about letting her audience into her romantic life again. Instead, she is placing value on her partner’s private nature, noting that he does not use social media, which has made her more comfortable.
During the podcast, LaPaglia recounted a recent trip she took with Meatball Man, despite her friends’ concerns about her catching the “ick” if they spent too much time together too soon. Her time with him, however, proved enjoyable, leading her to contemplate the potential for development in their relationship. She concluded, “Who knows? Maybe this will blossom into something,” while also reminding her listeners that moving on after a toxic relationship can take time.
LaPaglia admitted she still grapples with insecurities but is determined to keep an open heart. “I’m allowing myself to move forward instead of locking myself away,” she explained, encouraging others in similar situations to not lose hope.
Earlier this year, she has shared snippets about her new romance with her audience, such as times when her friends have commented positively about him, even jokingly suggesting marriage before they have had a significant length of time together. LaPaglia herself poked fun at the situation, stating that she had spent multiple nights with Meatball Man, which she remarked was “unlike her” behaviour.
Ultimately, Brianna LaPaglia’s approach to her relationship illustrates a growing trend among public figures who are increasingly choosing to keep their love lives private. Despite the challenges posed by the spotlight, LaPaglia is clearly making deliberate choices to protect her peace and navigate her romantic journey on her own terms.
