A Modesto man has received a significant prison sentence for stalking and breaking into a woman’s home, where he attempted to commit a sexual act. Cristian Solorio, aged 28, was sentenced to a total of six years and eight months after being convicted in connection with a series of disturbing incidents that left his victim living in fear.

According to the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office, Solorio developed an obsession with the victim shortly after meeting her at her workplace. Reports indicate that he would show up at her job multiple times each day, often making unwelcome advances and propositions, including a letter in which he expressed a desire to whisk her away to Mexico.
The harassment escalated as Solorio began following the woman home after her shifts. He even went as far as to sleep in his car parked outside her residence, making his presence felt by observing her family members and attempting to gain access to her home discreetly. These actions created a mounting sense of anxiety for the victim, who was already feeling overwhelmed by Solorio’s obsessive behaviour.
On the night of May 21, 2025, the situation turned even more alarming when Solorio broke into the victim’s home shortly after her father had left. The horrifying incident unfolded when the woman awoke to find Solorio at her feet, sucking and biting her toes while trying to gain entry into her bed.
In a concerning effort to diffuse the tense situation, the victim managed to maintain a calm façade, engaging Solorio in discussion to avoid further escalation. However, the ordeal escalated until family members intervened. They forced Solorio to leave the property, which ultimately led the victim to contact law enforcement.
