Television personality Morgan Stewart has bravely shared her experiences of profound personal loss in the inaugural episode of her new podcast, *The Morgan Stewart Show*, launched in partnership with SiriusXM. In an exclusive preview shared with PEOPLE, Stewart reflected on the heart-wrenching moments surrounding the deaths of her father and brother, both of which occurred in a span of just two years.

Stewart, who gained fame from her appearances on E!’s *Rich Kids of Beverly Hills*, revealed that the passing of her father, Herb, in October 2023 had a significant impact on her perspective on life and loss. In an emotional Instagram post to announce her father’s death, she confessed, “Dad, I tried to prepare for this moment as best as I could and I’m sorry to say I just couldn’t do it. I will miss you more than I can physically express.”
In her podcast, Stewart described the moment she witnessed her father take his final breaths as “the most beautiful, horrific moment of my entire life.” She recounted the day when she dropped her parents off at home after a hospice appointment and returned to her residence with her husband, Jordan McGraw, and their children. Reflecting on her feelings of exhaustion and bewilderment, she was soon blindsided by a message from her mother urging her to come back to the house.
When they returned, Stewart found that her father was already nearing the end. She poignantly narrated the intimate moment of holding his hand and observing the finality of life as he took his last breath. “I remember halfway through being like, ‘Is he going to close his eyes?'” said Stewart, highlighting the intimate farewell she shared with her father.
Jordan McGraw, who married Stewart in 2020, provided unwavering support during this harrowing time, even witnessing the sombre process of her father’s body being taken from the home. “We couldn’t do that. We were on another f—ing planet,” Stewart remarked, referring to the surreal nature of the moment.
The depths of her family’s tragedy did not end with her father’s passing. In the years following, Stewart faced the unexpected loss of her brother, Oliver, who died from what Morgan described as a “random” case of pneumonia in 2025. Oliver had battled schizophrenia from a young age, and his struggles had profoundly affected the family dynamic.
“I’ve had two of the most horrific realities,” Stewart noted, reflecting on both her father’s and brother’s deaths. She pointed out that while people often associate her with humour and a glamorous lifestyle, there lies a deeper reality that many are unaware of. “Life has really come at me in the last three years in a way that I think most people would be heavily medicated,” she stated candidly.
Despite the overwhelming challenges, Stewart is focused on resilience. She expressed that she has been working her way through the grief and trying to find her new self after such profound losses. “The last year I’m starting to feel better,” she said, sharing her ongoing journey towards healing.
Looking ahead, *The Morgan Stewart Show* promises to be a platform where she will likely continue to share not just her personal experiences but also explore broader themes of family, support, and recovery. New episodes are set to be released weekly, every Wednesday, on the SiriusXM app and other podcast platforms.
In an era where discussions about mental health and grief are gaining prominence, Morgan Stewart’s openness is commendable. Her journey may resonate with others facing similar tribulations, potentially offering solace and understanding to those navigating their own paths of loss.
As she moves forward, Morgan Stewart continues to advocate for honesty and resilience in the face of life’s unpredictable challenges, reminding her audience that even in the depths of sorrow, there exists a path to healing and renewal.
