**Lana Condor Transforms Physically for New Role in ‘Pretty Lethal’**
Actress Lana Condor has revealed the extent of her physical transformation for her latest role in the action thriller “Pretty Lethal,” which premiered at the 2026 SXSW Film & TV Festival in Austin, Texas. During a recent interview with PEOPLE, the 28-year-old star disclosed that she underwent rigorous training and committed to a stringent diet to prepare for the demands of her character, a ballerina.
Condor, best known for her role in the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” series, candidly shared that she began her intensive training six months prior to filming. “I was incredibly out of shape,” she admitted. “It would have been impossible for me to do it without the preparation I went through.”
To get into character, Condor’s training regimen consisted of five days a week of ballet classes combined with weight training. She emphasised the importance of being physically fit for the role, saying, “I trained very hard for this because I wanted my body to be prepared. It was a physically demanding movie, and I went through a significant transformation, which I was very proud of.”

They find refuge at a suspicious roadside inn run by a former ballet star.
