Adva Lavie, a 28-year-old model and influencer based in Los Angeles, has been charged with several felonies, including multiple counts of burglary and theft. The District Attorney’s office has publicly announced the allegations, claiming that Lavie targeted affluent individuals, specifically older men and younger women, through social media platforms.

The charges came to light after investigators revealed that Lavie, who also goes by the name Mia Ventura, allegedly gained access to her victims’ homes under the pretense of being their companion. According to the office of District Attorney Nathan Hochman, Lavie’s modus operandi involved establishing relationships via dating apps, only to later rob her victims of their valuables.
Lavie stands accused of two counts of unauthorised use of personal identifying information, as well as two counts of grand theft. Additionally, she faces one count of first-degree residential burglary with a person present and another count of first-degree residential burglary, all of which are serious felonies.
Over the course of her alleged criminal activities from 2023 to 2025, Lavie purportedly created an image as a desirable companion and travel partner, seeking to earn the trust of those she targeted. Authorities allege that once she gained access to her victims’ residences, she proceeded to steal items such as cash, gold, and luxurious designer goods.
In October of last year, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department made a public appeal for information leading to Lavie’s arrest, as she was wanted in connection with several residential burglaries that occurred across the region. This alert marked a significant escalation in the investigation surrounding Lavie’s activities.
Lavie’s background includes appearances in well-known publications such as “Playboy” and “Penthouse,” and she has claimed to be Israel’s first model on the OnlyFans platform. A profile associated with her name on a popular adult website describes her as a former flight attendant with a passion for travel, portraying an image of charisma and charm.
Currently, Lavie is scheduled for an arraignment set for April 6. She remains out of custody while wearing an ankle monitor, and legal stipulations require her to maintain distance from the identified victims. Despite the gravity of the charges, Lavie has pleaded not guilty to all allegations thus far.
Should she be found guilty on all counts, Lavie faces a potential sentence of up to 11 years and eight months in a state prison. As of now, it has not been disclosed whether Lavie has secured legal representation who can comment on her case and defence.
The unfolding situation has garnered substantial media attention, raising questions about the safety of individuals who engage with others online and the potential risks associated with forming relationships through social media platforms. The authorities continue to urge the community to be vigilant and cautious when interacting with strangers, especially in an era where technology has made such interactions increasingly common.
