He began experiencing troubling symptoms, including a lack of control over the movements of his left hand, as well as increasing weakness in his left leg, which led to frequent stumbling. Concerned about his condition, he sought medical attention on February 23, when a CT scan revealed the presence of three new tumours in his brain.
Following this alarming diagnosis, Chad underwent successful brain surgery just four days later, on February 27. Gilbert’s health issues are part of a broader struggle against metastatic pheochromocytoma, a rare adrenal gland cancer.
