Los Angeles-based fashion brand Blondita is set to unveil its latest collection in collaboration with PETA, called the Friends of Animals Club. Launching on March 24, the exclusive collection showcases a commitment to both style and animal welfare, with a portion of proceeds benefiting PETA’s Doghouse Program.

The collection, which features items that epitomise a playful and nostalgic aesthetic, will include a signature tank top, a hoodie, and a pair of matching shorts. Designs have gained popularity among celebrities, including musicians Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter, who have been seen sporting pieces from the brand.
The highlight of the collection is the “I Heart Animals” tank top, which is baby blue and boasts a whimsical ruffled hem. The tank features a slogan styled in an airbrush effect, a creative touch made possible through collaboration with artist Hank Reavis. Characteristically for the brand, the graphic includes a heart filled with polka dots, harkening back to the beloved polka-dot Gwen set easily recognisable from Carpenter’s “Taste” music video.
Complementing the tank are the Paws On Hoodie and Paws Off Bloomers. Both pieces are furnished in a soft grey fabric adorned with playful blue and pink cartoon paw prints, a design that’s particularly in line with Blondita’s fun-loving ethos. As part of the brand’s commitment to ethical fashion, all items are created using vegan materials, ensuring that the fashion is as kind as it is stylish.
Angela Ruis, the founder of Blondita, has long been an advocate for animal welfare. Her commitment is visibly woven into the brand’s identity, with motifs featuring cartoon dogs frequently appearing in past collections. Ruis expressed how natural it felt to join forces with PETA for this initiative: “This collection reflects our love for animals in the most adorable way possible,” she shared.
The collaboration not only exemplifies Ruis’s dedication to animal rights but also aims to create a direct impact on animal welfare through fashion. With half of the proceeds from the Friends of Animals Club going towards PETA’s Doghouse Program, the campaign aims to provide essential support to neglected dogs in rural North Carolina—offering food, clean water, and proper shelter to those in need.
Ruis further explicated her motivation, stating, “Animals are individuals I feel a deep connection to, and creating something that supports them means a lot to me. It’s a natural extension of our brand to make clothes that hold a deeper purpose.” The designer hopes that wearers will not only enjoy the pieces’ comfort but also feel empowered to express their love for animals.
Fashion has always been integral to Ruis’s life, making this collaboration with PETA feel particularly meaningful. In her words, “This collection celebrates all animals who share our world. They deserve peace, joy, and the space to be themselves—wings, claws, paws, and all.”
The Blondita brand has gained traction in recent months, especially noted for its connection to a vast array of celebrities across various platforms. After its emergence in the fashion scene, notable figures such as Alysa Liu, Rachel Sennott, and Rachel Zegler have embraced the brand, further amplifying its visibility through social media and live appearances.
Given the rapid rise in popularity, the Blondita collection has made its way into prominent magazines like Dazed and Teen Vogue while also appearing on-screen, captured in films featuring industry icons.
The Friends of Animals Club collection is available for purchase starting at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET on March 24. Those interested in sporting these stylish and ethically produced garments can access the collection through the official Blondita website.
As the fashion world continues to evolve towards sustainability and ethical production, collaborations like that of Blondita and PETA highlight the growing trend of meaningful fashion—allowing consumers to wear their values with pride.
