**Clarins Celebrates with Star-Studded ‘Night of Extra’ in Los Angeles**

On 20 March, the renowned French beauty brand Clarins hosted its glamourous “Night of Extra” at the prestigious Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. This annual event highlighted the launch of the brand’s latest skincare innovation, the Extra-Firming Energy moisturiser, and featured a lively performance from the popular band Maroon 5.

The evening began with the sun setting over the Hollywood Hills, casting a warm and inviting golden hue across the venue. Guests arrived on an eye-catching orange carpet, perfectly in line with the event’s theme and the product being celebrated. The Extra-Firming Energy moisturiser boasts a unique formula enriched with collagen polypeptides, red ginseng, and niacinamide—ingredients designed to revitalise and rejuvenate skin.
Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5, and his model wife Behati Prinsloo were among the first notable guests to grace the carpet. They were quickly followed by a host of celebrities, all eager to soak in the festive atmosphere. Attendees included influencers Lucky Blue Smith and Nara Smith, who shared insights into their skincare routines. Smith prefers a straightforward regimen, while Nara enjoys a multi-step approach involving eight different products.
Brooks Nader, a former Clarins campaign ambassador, expressed her enthusiasm for the event theme, saying, “I’m a maximalist. I want sparkles!” The Southern actress is also gearing up for her role in a reboot of the iconic *Baywatch*, where she hopes to bring her own unique flair to the character.
Among the stylish attendees was 22-year-old NFL star Jaxson Dart, showcasing a sophisticated look with a black suit adorned with a Dolce & Gabbana brooch. “I am who I am, and I just put on what I feel like I want to,” Dart commented on his fashion choices. Meanwhile, actress Samara Weaving turned heads in a chic black off-the-shoulder bodycon dress, accentuating her pregnancy with her husband, Jimmy Warden. Weaving acknowledged the significant role of her stylist, Jordan Dorso, in her fashion decisions.
The carpet continued to buzz with star power as celebrities such as Sophia Culpo, Quenlin Blackwell, Rainey Qualley, and Paris Brosnan graced the scene, followed by the cast of *Tell Me Lies*. The ensemble—comprising Sonia Mena, Spencer House, Thomas Doherty, Branden Cook, and Katherine Hughes—expressed their joy in reconnecting after the series’ recent conclusion. Mena remarked on the bittersweet experience of finishing the show, celebrating their journey together.
As the night progressed, Maroon 5 took to the stage, kicking off their performance with the hit track “Sugar.” The crowd erupted in excitement as the band delivered a series of their classic songs, including “Sunday Morning,” “This Love,” and “Moves Like Jagger.” Levine addressed the audience, saying, “It’s good to be here on arguably one of the most beautiful nights of the year,” creating an energetic atmosphere throughout the venue.
Guests enjoyed a feast of cocktails and indulged in live-spun gelato, courtesy of DJ Tay James, who provided the evening’s soundtrack. The celebrations concluded on a high note, with partygoers receiving goodie bags filled with Clarins’ signature products as they left, embodying the “extra” theme of the evening.
The Night of Extra not only marked a significant celebration for Clarins as it continues to innovate in the beauty industry but also showcased the brand’s ability to throw an unforgettable party, blending glamour, entertainment, and skincare in one memorable night.
