In a candid moment at the Clarins Night of Extra event in Los Angeles, model and reality star Brooks Nader shared her personal regret about having undergone liposuction. Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, Nader revealed that at the age of 29, she has come to terms with the unintended consequences of the procedure, describing it as a decision she now wishes she had never made.

During her conversation with the publication on March 20 at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Nader reflected on her choice to have the surgery, stating, “I probably shouldn’t say this, but I’m just going to say it. I had liposuction years ago, and I forever regret it because I just didn’t need it.” She elaborated that the outcome introduced “dimples and ripples” to her body, which she did not anticipate.

Nader’s revelation highlights growing discussions in popular culture surrounding the pressures of beauty standards and the potential pitfalls of cosmetic procedures. Emphasising the importance of health over appearance, she advised against excessive interventions, remarking, “We just got to do less with all that and be healthy.”
This is not the first time Nader has opened up about her experiences with cosmetic enhancements. In a previous interview with Bustle in November 2025, she acknowledged the public’s mixed reactions to her various procedures, including a nose job. She mentioned that some people likened her appearance to the late pop icon Michael Jackson, a comparison she seemed to take in her stride.
The model has also admitted to other enhancements, including dental veneers, Botox, and the use of a GLP-1 medication to support her weight loss journey. She humorously remarked about her approach to aesthetic treatments, “Every Christmas, you can catch me looking like Freddy Krueger,” referencing the dramatic changes she often undergoes during her downtime.
At the Clarins event, Nader showcased her enthusiasm for beauty products, passionately discussing her go-to skincare favourites. She expressed her long-standing loyalty to the brand, stating, “I love the Double Serum. I put it on top of all of my makeup. I put it on the tip of my nose. It adds a glow.” Her endorsement of Clarins continued as she highlighted the Lip Perfector, exclaiming, “Extra firming, give me extra everything.”
Besides skincare, Nader reflected on her style, describing it as “extra” and distinctly different from the current trend of understated fashion. She explained, “I think I’m extra in every way. I feel like everyone’s into the Carolyn Bessette demure [look], and I’m like, ‘No, I’m a maximalist.’ … I want sparkles … I’m from the South, so I’m extra in every way.”
Brooks Nader’s frank admission regarding her liposuction experience serves as a poignant reminder of the complex relationship many have with beauty and body image in the public eye. As conversations about cosmetic procedures evolve, her story may resonate with those grappling with similar decisions and the realities that accompany them.
The model and reality star continues to thrive in her career while balancing the expectations of public life and personal authenticity. Her willingness to share her experiences may encourage others to reconsider their choices in pursuit of beauty and to prioritise their well-being above societal pressures.
As Nader moves forward, her ongoing advocacy for a healthy approach to self-image alongside her passion for beauty products will undoubtedly continue to inspire her followers and fans alike.
