A man has been arrested in connection with a series of fires that have plagued parts of Los Angeles, including a gentlemen’s club in the Canoga Park area. The suspect, identified as 48-year-old Cyrus Farsaad, is facing serious charges relating to three separate incidents of arson that have raised concerns about public safety in the community.

Farsaad’s alleged crimes came to light following an investigation by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, which announced the charges on March 20. He faces three felony counts of arson, and if found guilty, could be sentenced to a maximum of 14 years and four months in prison.
The timeline of events begins on March 2, when Farsaad purportedly set fire to an electrical vault located within a warehouse in the Fashion District of downtown Los Angeles. Although this initial fire extinguished itself, Farsaad reportedly returned to the site a week later, on March 8, and ignited the vault once more.
