According to reports from Thai police, Jordan, aged 33, had recently relocated to Thailand, a move he chronicled through his social media. His Instagram, which he last updated on March 6, showcased images of his adventures in the country, captioned “I’m Home 🇹🇭,” indicating his enthusiasm for the new chapter in his life. However, the circumstances surrounding his death have raised numerous questions that local law enforcement are now striving to answer.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Sutthirak Chuthong from the Choeng Thale police station provided details on the investigation. Wright had been reported missing by the hotel where he was a guest after staff were unable to establish contact with him. A search of his room showed no signs of forced entry, and it appeared that he had arrived alone, scheduled to check out on March 13. The hotel’s records and CCTV footage indicated that he had been seen moving restlessly in front of the hotel before leaving the area.
The CCTV footage remains a focal point of the investigation, with police indicating that Wright’s movements ultimately led to the location where his body was discovered. Chuthong stated that it appeared Wright had died less than two days prior to the discovery, although officials are awaiting autopsy results from Vachira Phuket Hospital to confirm the cause of death. Reports indicate that there were no signs of physical assault on Wright’s body, and his hotel key card was found in his pocket alongside his phone.
As the investigation continues, police have emphasised they cannot release CCTV footage related to the case at this stage. They remain committed to establishing the exact circumstances surrounding Wright’s death, with authorities inviting family or friends to reach out with concerns about the matter.
Wright first gained recognition in 2017 as part of the MTV reality series ‘Ex on the Beach’. His subsequent appearance on TOWIE in the following year further solidified his status in the entertainment sphere, though he exited the show after one season to return to his career as a firefighter. Following the announcement of his death, fellow reality stars have taken to social media to express their condolences and share memories of him.
Chloe Brockett, another TOWIE alum, expressed her sorrow with a heartfelt message: “Rest in peace Jordan,” while Chloe Crowhurst from Love Island echoed similar sentiments. Influencer Brandon Myers, who shared a close bond with Wright, reflected on their friendship, stating, “Lost for words bro. Amazing memories with you mate. Rest easy brother.”
As tributes pour in, the realities of Wright’s untimely death cast a shadow over the initial excitement of his move to Thailand. The shockwaves of this event extend beyond fans of reality television; it serves as a reminder of the complexities that can lie beneath the glitz and glamour of public life.
Investigations into the cause and circumstances surrounding Jordan Wright’s death will continue as authorities work diligently to provide clarity to his family and loved ones during this challenging time.
