Sharon and Kelly Osbourne are set to revisit their iconic reality television series, ‘The Osbournes’, not merely for nostalgia but to support a significant cause. The mother-daughter duo will commemorate the show, which aired on MTV between 2002 and 2005, as part of a promotional campaign for Omaze, a company known for raising funds through prize competitions.

As part of this initiative, Omaze is offering the opportunity to win a Georgian mansion estimated at £5 million—equivalent to approximately $6.7 million. In addition to the mansion giveaway, the Osbournes’ involvement has prompted Omaze to pledge a remarkable donation of £1 million (around $1.3 million) to Centrepoint, an organisation that serves homeless youth. Prince William has long been a patron of this charity, which has historical roots intertwined with his mother, Princess Diana.

The funds raised from this partnership will directly contribute to the establishment of seven Independent Living homes under Centrepoint, allowing an estimated 160 young individuals to transition from homelessness to a more stable, independent lifestyle. Kelly, aged 41, underscored the importance of the charitable aspect of the project, expressing hope that her efforts would resonate well with Prince William. “I think William will make an amazing king, and I really hope he’s pleased with the donation,” she stated.

The promotional video, set to be released soon, will feature the Osbournes reminiscing about their time in a Georgian-style home in Buckinghamshire, as well as their Los Angeles residence, where much of the original filming took place. Currently, Sharon resides in the Buckinghamshire house, while Kelly lives nearby in Beaconsfield. The exact location of the Omaze mansion remains undisclosed until the advertisement debuts.
Centrepoint holds sentimental value for the royal family; Prince William became its first patron in 2005, following his mother’s legacy as a supporter of the charity until her death in 1997. Kelly expressed her eagerness to meet the prince at an upcoming gala, considering him a man of great clarity and commitment. “I have so many ideas I’d like to tell him about,” she remarked, highlighting the importance of grassroots engagement in addressing social issues.
Seyi Obakin OBE, CEO of Centrepoint, conveyed the organisation’s appreciation for the Osbournes’ dedication to fighting youth homelessness. In a statement, he commented on the inspiring nature of the campaign and their enthusiasm for collaborating with the Osbournes as ambassadors for this worthy cause.
Despite the contrasting public images of the Osbournes and the royal family, there have been instances of connection between them over the years. In 2003, when Ozzy Osbourne faced a serious health crisis following a motorbike accident, then-Prince Charles reached out to the family. More recently, following Ozzy’s passing on July 22, 2025, Sharon recounted receiving a heartfelt letter from King Charles, which she discussed on the podcast, “The Osbournes”.
Sharon, who has been married to Ozzy for over four decades, has expressed her admiration for the current King, emphasising his empathy and understanding of societal issues. “Our King is an amazing person,” she remarked, acknowledging his genuine care for various causes beyond mere politics. She noted the significance of receiving a personal message from the King after Ozzy’s death, reinforcing the family’s respect for the royal legacy.
As Sharon and Kelly prepare to revisit ‘The Osbournes’ and promote a charitable cause, they aim not only to reflect on their unconventional family dynamic but also to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people facing adversity. Their partnership with Centrepoint and Omaze exemplifies a blend of entertainment and philanthropy, rooted in a common goal of fostering change in society.
