A tragic bus accident on Saturday, March 14, in Nepal has led to the death of at least seven individuals and left several others injured. The bus, which was carrying more than a dozen passengers, veered off a mountain road in the Gorkha District while returning from the renowned Manakamana Hindu Temple.

The fatalities from this incident included five men and two women, all of whom were reported to be Indian pilgrims. Among the deceased were Tamilarsi, 60, Meenakshi, 59, Muthu Kumar, 58, Anamalik, 58, Meena, 58, Vijayal, 57, and Sivagami, 53, according to Bharat Bahadur BK, the Chief of Gorkha District Police Office.

Local authorities revealed that the bus fell nearly 500 feet down the hillside into a ravine.
