Many may recognise Warburton from his various voice acting roles in animated features such as *Family Guy*, *The Emperor’s New Groove*, and *Bee Movie*. His performance as Puddy in the iconic sitcom *Seinfeld* solidified his place within television history, while his appearances in *A Series of Unfortunate Events* and *Rules of Engagement* showcased his versatility as an on-screen actor.

Despite the many years in the acting profession, Warburton finds it heartwarming when fans approach him to share their enthusiasm. He explained, “Sometimes when you’re speaking at a Con and you go sign, people want to take pictures with you, and they’re in tears. It’s sweet.” Though he can’t fully comprehend why his work evokes such strong emotions, he deeply appreciates the connection he has formed with his audience. “These certain cartoons they watched a thousand times have that impact on their lives. It’s lovely to be on the other end of that,” he noted.
When it comes to the projects that resonate most with his fans, Warburton often hears about his contributions to *Family Guy*, *Seinfeld*, and the beloved *The Emperor’s New Groove*. He expressed gratitude that his work has left a lasting impression on pop culture, stating, “I’m just glad that there are things that I’ve done that have made an impact.” Warburton, who regards himself as an actor rather than a movie star, takes pride in having sustained a career that has allowed him to provide for his family.
Interestingly, Warburton observed a particular affinity with millennials, who frequently remark, “I grew up with your voice!” He acknowledged that he never initially intended to focus on voice acting, yet it seems this path has defined much of his fame. “Now I’m probably more known for my voice than anything else,” he said, reflecting on the evolution of his career.
At this stage in his life, Warburton is more selective about the projects he undertakes. He no longer feels compelled to rush through a hectic schedule or accept roles simply for financial reasons. “I realised the last couple of years, ‘Hey, whatever you’re doing, you don’t have to do anymore,’” he explained, highlighting a newfound perspective that allows him to enjoy a more relaxed pace, spending quality time with family and pursuing leisure activities like golf.
Warburton expressed a desire to branch out and tackle more diverse roles that defy typical casting stereotypes. “They say, ‘He’s just a big wacky guy from Seinfeld or a curmudgeon on Rules of Engagement,’” he remarked. He aims to venture into more interesting and unconventional projects moving forward.
In addition to his acting career, Warburton is dedicated to philanthropic efforts through *The Warburton*, a celebrity golf tournament he hosts annually. This event, which has gained popularity over the 16 years since its inception, benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, having raised over £40 million to date. Last year alone, the tournament brought in a remarkable £6.4 million, uniting various figures from Hollywood, sports, and business in support of a noble cause.
Warburton credits the generosity of the Coachella Valley for the tournament’s success, emphasising the significance of the work done at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He stated, “It’s been a fantastic experience for the family,” praising the efforts of his team, including chairman Clark Rainey, who works tirelessly to ensure the event’s impact.
As Warburton continues to navigate his career, he reflects on the importance of the connections he has made through both his performances and his charitable work, finding joy and fulfilment in the recognition and love from fans, as well as the meaningful legacy he is helping to create.
