Skeletal remains discovered in Idaho have been confirmed as belonging to Bobby Lee Rodriguez, a man who went missing nearly six years ago. Rodriguez, who was last seen on 30 September 2019, was reported missing on 8 November of the same year. At the time of his disappearance, he had been dropped off by a taxi near Wagonhammer Springs. According to accounts, he had informed the taxi driver that he intended to meet a relative who was camping in the area when he vanished.
The discovery was made by a fisherman who, while searching for warmth on the hill where the remains were found, stumbled upon them. Alongside the skeletal remains, several personal items were recovered, including clothing and what appeared to be a rusted shotgun. Authorities later determined that the shotgun had been purchased by Rodriguez just days before his disappearance.
