“He walked in the room, and I was like, ‘I just… I don’t know how we fit, like, romantically. I don’t know if it physically works,'” she explained. “And he just absolutely, like, blew it out of the water.” Following Chalamet’s audition, the room was filled with a sense of awe. “He left the room, and we’re all just like, ‘What just happened?'” Monroe reflected.

Monroe went on to express her belief that Chalamet had always been destined for success in the industry. “I think he was made for this job and this career, for sure,” she commented, acknowledging the talent that has undoubtedly led him to become a prominent figure in contemporary cinema.
