We hope to do IVF sometime in the near future, but right now all our focus is on Aurora,” she revealed, shed light on the couple’s intentions behind using IVF.
Blanchard elaborated on the importance of IVF, particularly concerning her genetic condition, known as microdeletion 1q21.1. She indicated a critical desire to ensure that any future child would not inherit her condition. “We are thankful Aurora tested negative, but can’t take the risk for another child naturally, so IVF is our best option, and with it, we can choose the gender. We would like to give Aurora a baby brother,” Blanchard explained.
Looking to the future, Blanchard speculated that they might start trying for another baby around the middle of 2026. She emphasised the need for time to adjust to their new routines as parents, especially considering Urker’s recent transition to a new career path.
