The singer-songwriter, now 43, shared her thoughts with E! News, revealing that the journey of their marriage has become easier and more fulfilling as time has passed. “We’ve evolved so much. We’ve been through so much together,” she remarked, highlighting the changes in their family dynamics, particularly with Cibrian’s sons, Mason, 22, and Jake, 18, whom Rimes helps to raise.
She noted that their home life has become calmer as the boys have grown, contributing to a more peaceful and loving environment. “Now our boys are grown. To help raise his sons— we have a very calm life, which is wonderful,” Rimes explained, pointing out how the evolution of their roles as stepparents has brought them closer together.
