Corey Feldman, renowned for his roles in iconic films such as “The Goonies” and “Stand By Me,” has officially finalised his divorce from Courtney Anne Mitchell after more than two years since announcing their separation. The couple’s marriage, which lasted nearly seven years, came to an end following a Los Angeles Superior Court judge’s approval of the divorce on February 25, 2025.

The actor and singer first revealed their split in August 2023. In a heartfelt statement to PEOPLE at the time, Feldman expressed his sadness over the separation, emphasising that the decision was mutual. He highlighted their shared journey, stating, “We have been through so much together and still have much love and respect for each other.” He attributed their separation to a myriad of challenges, including Mitchell’s health issues, and acknowledged that they had grown apart over the years.

Mitchell shared her own sentiments in a separate statement, remembering the “amazing times” they had spent together. She expressed her enduring love for Feldman, while also detailing her personal struggles, notably battling COVID-19, chronic fatigue, and hives. The pair had collaborated professionally, with Mitchell joining Feldman on tour as both a singer and DJ, and participating in reality shows like “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition” and “Celebrity Wife Swap.”
Following their separation announcement, the couple worked towards settling their divorce amicably. They reached a crucial agreement concerning the division of assets and other financial matters prior to the official dissolution of their marriage. However, the legal formalities took time to complete, and it was not until February 2025 that all necessary court documents were finalised.
As part of the divorce settlement, Feldman has agreed to pay Mitchell a sum of £100,000 in spousal support. Intriguingly, both parties have waived any future claims to spousal support, which may simplify their post-marital financial dealings. This element of the agreement reflects a desire on both sides to move forward without the burden of ongoing financial disputes.
Feldman has also been keeping busy with his professional commitments. Recently, he concluded his participation in “Dancing With the Stars”, where he showcased his dancing prowess alongside pro dancer Jenna Johnson. His involvement in the entertainment industry continues to flourish, as he balances these pursuits with his personal life changes.
The actor’s history of relationships includes two previous marriages: first to Vanessa Marcil from 1989 to 1993, and later to Susie Sprague, which lasted from 2002 until their divorce in 2014. Each relationship has contributed to Feldman’s experiences and growth, leading to his current chapter alongside Mitchell.
In his typical candid style, Feldman took to social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to announce the conclusion of his divorce proceedings. He proclaimed, “IT’S DONE,” while conveying that he would refrain from disclosing further details about the settlement. He acknowledged the complexity of their experiences while expressing gratitude for the resolution that they had achieved.
This latest chapter in Feldman’s life marks another significant transition, but it appears he approaches it with the same spirit of resilience that has characterised his career. With both parties looking to embrace their futures separately, it remains to be seen how their paths will unfold in the wake of this substantial personal change.
