Kenzlie Cavasar, a resident of Las Vegas, was involved in the crash while reportedly returning from a family fishing trip at Lake Havasu. The young girl was a second-grade student at Rogers Elementary School and had recently been named the National American Miss Nevada State Cover Girl for the years 2024-2026.
Involved in the head-on collision alongside Cavasar were Robert Bagozzi, 78, and his wife, Wendy Bagozzi, 79, from Washington, Utah. The couple was driving in a silver SUV when their vehicle collided with the pickup truck carrying Kenzlie and several family friends. Unfortunately, all three individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
Reports from the San Bernardino County medical examiner’s office confirm that the accident required the closure of the highway as emergency personnel worked to extricate those trapped in the wreckage. Images shared by authorities depict the severe damage sustained by both vehicles, underscoring the impact of the collision.
According to information provided by Cavasar’s family, the pickup truck was attempting to overtake another vehicle towing a trailer when the crash occurred.
