Authorities in South Australia are intensifying their search for Trisha Graf, a 41-year-old mother of two who has not been seen since the early hours of December 12, 2025. The latest efforts involve exploring numerous mine shafts in the remote mining town of Andamooka, where Graf was last known to be.

The South Australia Police (SAPOL) released a statement on February 23, confirming the conclusion of a search at a residential property in Andamooka. The ongoing investigation has shifted focus to the surrounding area, particularly multiple mine shafts near Blue Dam, the location where Graf’s abandoned vehicle—a white 2012 Ford Territory—was discovered on the day of her disappearance.
Graf was last spotted driving on Dunstan Drive in Andamooka at approximately 2:00 a.m. on the day she went missing. According to reports, she had been at the Roxby Downs Hotel prior to her departure, where she was seen with a friend around midnight. Following their visit to the hotel, the pair collided with a kangaroo shortly after leaving and continued on to Andamooka, where they stopped at a home.
After spending a brief time at the residence, Graf left to return home but was never seen again. Her partner and a friend discovered the abandoned vehicle perched on a dirt mound near Blue Dam later that same day. Initial searches, including ground and aerial operations conducted by police and State Emergency Service (SES) teams, as well as local community members, failed to yield any sign of Graf.
Det. Superintendent Darren Fielke, who oversees the Major Crime Investigation Branch, expressed serious concerns regarding Graf’s welfare. He noted that the discovery of her sandals near the vehicle raised suspicions that she did not simply walk away from the scene. “We would have expected to locate her if she had simply wandered off a short distance,” he stated, hinting at the potential for more serious circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
Despite extensive searches, including diving operations in the nearby Blue Dam, SAPOL has yet to find any trace of Graf. Police have indicated that they are deploying additional specialist resources to aid the investigation and to determine what may have occurred in the hours following her last sighting.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have been in contact with Graf in the days leading up to her disappearance, particularly those at the Roxby Downs Hotel, to come forward with any information. “We are still seeking information from people who saw Trisha after she returned to Andamooka,” Det. Superintendent Fielke added, emphasising the importance of community engagement in this ongoing investigation.
